Maria over at Believe Dream Create created this amazing plaque!   Wait till you see it!  She never fails to amaze me!  These are Maria's directions on how to make the plaque below!
The Holidays are over and it is time to get my brain back thinking of fun things to do with the Chomas Creations Engraving Tip! I love Amy's products because they really get my brain thinking of creative things to do with them. Last year I had bought some Creative Imaginations Wood Paper, used it on a scrapbook page and forgot about it. Right before Christmas I was walking through Michael's and saw the paper on clearance--no wonder, if was a little pricey for scrapbook paper. It isn't your usual scrapbook paper, it is real wood, but it can be cut with a trimmer!

I decided to take the wood thing a little further and bought a cheap wood plaque. I painted just the edges white

Then I put my Engraving Tip in and started to play! I measured the face of the plaque and then made the file in my Gypsy. The image is from Home Accents. I did a multi-cut of 3. I did tape the one edge of the paper to the mat to make sure it stayed secure.

This is what it looked like when it was done. Looks great here but I decided to take it a step further.

I took a Tim Holtz Distress Ink Re-inker in Vintage Photo and dropped ink onto the wood paper. I then rubbed it in with a baby wipe over and over.

When I got it the color I liked I added some final touches with a Pink Souffle pen, some Prima ribbon and Prima mini flowers. Instant sign!

And the  moment you have all been waiting for!   Here is Maria's sign!
