Royal Purple Freedom Blog Hop

Welcome to the Royal Purple Freedom Blog Hop cards for a cause!  I'm the last stop on the hop and if you have come from my girl  Kristal's blog at Getting Cricky then you are on the right track!  If you just stopped by today and want to see the whole hop from the beginning, head on over to Faith's Blog at Faithful Creations

I was asked to do purple cards for this hop, and as some of you may know, purple just isn't my color hehe!  But luckily I did have some on hand that I found!  These are part of Basic Grey's Kioshi line.  I used the Chomas Creations embossing tip with the Expression 2 for this project. I've been asked by a lot of ladies if the Chomas Creations tools work with the Expression 2 and the answer is YES!
One of the cartridges built in is Just A Note and I used it to make the swirlie embossed flowers for the card.
I added some of the ribbon stickers to look like grass and stems for my flowers, then the big fabric flower in the middle.  Easy to put together!

My project today is for a worthy cause! I've made these cards to send to go to a woman in a shelter, and I'm going to write something encouraging inside to help raise a woman's spirits! I decided to do 3 different ones to send.
About 4.8 million intimate partner-related physical assaults and rapes occur every year while many more assaults and rapes go unreported entirely. Over 3 million children witness violence in their home each year and those who see and hear violence in the home suffer physically and emotionally. These statistics are sad and overwhelming, but help IS out there for those that choose to break the silence.
Together we can make a difference! Help us instill some hope where very little probably exists and give 24 families a chance at recovery when we are able to donate 1k dollars to the Bradley Angle House. Your purple themed card(s) with a hope filled message inside could make all the difference, not to mention give YOU a chance to win the grand prize for this hop...what is it you ask? A prize basket valued at more than $100.
Want more chances to win the grand prize? Additional entries will be given for each $1 donation you include with your card. Would you prefer 1 entry, 10 entries, or is 100 entries more of what you had in mind? It's all up to you! Cards must be postmarked by June 30th for inclusion in basket drawings and can be mailed to the following address:
Royal Purple Hop
c/o Vicki Smith
P.O. Box 1496
Millbrook, NY 12545
You just have to go to Faithful Creations to see the amazing gift pack she has going for helping out with this cause!

I have a mini prize to offer up as well!  Leave a comment here for a chance to win a 10 pack of the Chomas Creations mini gel pens in your choice of glitter or assorted.  1 entry per person and please leave your contact info so I can get to you!
If you get lost somewhere along the hop, here is a list of all blogs involved...
