And so it begins with Chomas Creations adjustable marker holder

I had run across these photos of my 2 youngest from about 5 years ago, and it reminded me of how things are right now as well!  Seems they were going at each other even then hehe!  Not fun when you have 2 1/2 months left of summer vacation!
I've said before that Lettering Delights has new thin fonts, and I'm playin with them again!  Don't forget you can use these fonts in Studio as well, just download the zip file on LD, and use the TTF version of the fonts.  I used the Chomas Creations adjustable marker holder in the Silhouette Cameo with a Papermate Flair marker to draw my journaling and the start of my title.

Notice how the fonts look thin even at a bigger size!

I added my pics along with some ribbon, hearts cut with the Cameo and buttons and voila!  All finished!

Graduation card with Chomas Creations engraving tip

We have a lot of graduations to go to in my home this year, so here is another graduation card!  Tis the season!   I used the Chomas Creations engraving tip in the Silhouette Cameo to etch the design into Core'dinations cardstock.  I then lightly sanded the top to really make the designs pop.  All designs are Studio downloads (graduation background & congrats graduate 2012).  I used my daugther's school colors for this card.

Father's day card with Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder

I just love when others share projects for you to see!  That way you all know it isn't just me using the Chomas Creations holders, hehe!  This project is from Cecilia over at Crafting in the Night using the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder in the Cameo.  She wanted to try out the Sharpie Liquid pencil and didn't have the adjustable marker holder, so she took out the insides and used them in the adjustable pen holder!  Great idea Cecilia if you are in a pinch!  You can get more details and see the blog hop she is a part of over at Crafting in the Night.

Father's Day card with Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder

Ok, I can't believe I am admitting this, but my husband loves Metallica.  I tell him it is angry music and he can't listen to it around the kiddies (ok, I can't stand it to, but it sounds better when I say it is cause of the kiddies!).  But I thought it would be fun to give him a different kind of Father's Day card this year.  I used Make-the-Cut to trace the Metallica image, then used the thin font Quiver from Lettering Delights to write the You Rock underneath it, and added some Chevron to the bottom.  I then used the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder in the Cameo with a stylus (I do offer these in the Chomas Creations store) to emboss this design onto a metal sheet added color side down to a Chomas Creations embossing mat.  I set my pressure to 33, my speed at 6 and used a double cut to emboss twice. I then sanded the raised image and added it to a kraft colored card.  Voila!  Fun Father's Day!

Thanks school card with Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder

Well tomorrow is the last day of school, so here is another thanks card for one of my kids' teachers!  I used the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder in the Silhouette Cameo to draw the graph lines with a metallic light blue Chomas Creations mini gel pen in Studio.  You can get the graph paper file here... graph paper card.
The apple & thanks were both downloads from the Studio store.

Thank you card with Chomas Creations adjustable marker holder

I have to work on some end of year thank you cards for the kids' teachers this year, and  here is one I came up with!  I was thinking the white gel pen would look like chalk on the chalk board (although they use smart boards at my kids' school!).  So I used the Chomas Creations adjustable marker holder for the Cameo with the Signo white gel pen to draw the Lettering Delights thin font called Teacher in MTC.  You can get the share for this file on here... abc thank you

2012 card using Chomas Creations adjustable marker holder

If some of you read my facebook page you may know that I have a high school graduate this year! My oldest daugther graduated summa cum laude (which means she got a GPA of 3.8 or higher all of her 4 years in high school!) and that I am one proud mommy! And that explains the lack of blog play lately!
I will be going to a few grad parties this summer, so I got a start on some cards!  I made the inside sentiment, which is a Dr. Suess quote (I did put girl instead of guy in the quote).  I drew this inside the card using the Chomas Creations adjustable marker holder and a Sharpie liquid pencil.  I used MTC with thin font from Lettering Delights (these are single line fonts in MTC!  or they are thin fonts in Studio as they have a TTF version).  The font is called Eesome.  If you want the quote to use in MTC I have the download here... grad quote

The outside of the card is a share that Kay of Clever Someday has on her blog!  Hop on over there and thank her for the awesome share!   I cut this out using fuzzy vinyl so there is texture on the front of the card.
