Flower card with Chomas Creations engraving tip
Ooooh don't you just love when someone sends you an idea and it pans out?? Take this flower for instance...
Pretty neat huh? It is a piece of rustic cardstock that I used the Chomas Creations engraving tip in the Silhouette on to engrave the flower design. Now I have tried to rub chalks across paper that I've engraved on, but why did I never think to use inks?? This is the dried marigold distress ink. It really picks up the etched part of the flower! Of course you could use the brown colors for a burned wood look as well!

Thin fonts are here and I just had to play!!! Lettering Delights now has a whole bunch of thin fonts and sketches to and you can find out more about them on Jin's Under a Cherry Tree!
I made this cute little design with LDT Funky & Farm Animals. Here is how they look in Make-the-Cut, they are single line!!
I used the Chomas Creations adjustable marker holder with the Flair pens in the Silhouette Cameo to draw the design!

Woohoo! LD just released a bunch of single line fonts!
It is a moment we have all been waiting for! Super cute single lined fonts! I sent Jin Yong of Under A Cherry Tree some of my Chomas Creations adjustable pen and marker holders for the Silhouette Cameo to give a go with these new single line fonts, and she has done an awesome post about them! There is a link on her blog on ordering these new fonts from Lettering Delights, and if you order today you can save even more! Head on over to Under A Cherry Tree to find out more! I already ordered the whole kit and kaboodle, but have no time to play as it is swim lessons time! Jin used MTC for the example below, which can use open type fonts.

I finally got some time to play and heard you can download the TTF file of these same fonts to use in Silhouette Studio or any other program that uses TTF fonts! Here are some quick samples I did with the Cameo and Studio. The first set is using the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder with the Sakura Glaze gel pens. I had my speed set to 2, so these look a bit thicker as it lets more of the gel pen ink flow.
These are all drawn between 1 inch and 1 1/4 inch, so they are a good size! I also tried them out with the Chomas Creations mini gel pens, which you can kinda tell these are not single line fonts, but very very close to it!
So great news, you can use these new fonts with Silhouette Studio! Which opens up even more possibilities!
If you are ready to order your own Chomas Creations adjustable holders, use the coupon code april10 at checkout to save 10% off your entire order in the Chomas Creations store!

Sears Tower with Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder
Two years ago when we took our family to Chicago one of our stops was the Sears Tower (I am one of the 92% that refuses to call it the Willis Tower!) It was amazing how small everything looked from way up there, and how much you could see miles and miles out!
I used the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder for the Silhouette Cameo with the glitter silver mini gel pen to draw the Sears Tower.
After I had put my pictures on, I decided I wanted to add some journaling lines. So I added the entire layout to the mat, and did just that again with the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder. This made for easier journaling!
Last I added some silver vinyl along the bottom by copying my rectangle windows and cutting them out.

Fun & games with Chomas Creations adjustable marker holder
Sometimes coming up with boy scrapbook page ideas is tough, so I decided to make my own background paper here! This shiny metallic paper is from Colorbok, I got a pack of 2 for just $1 at Target! I used the Chomas Creations adjustable marker holder for the Silhouette Cameo to hold the Bic Mark-It and draw the grid background. If you want to save on the holder, use the coupon code april10 at checkout to save 10% off your entire purchase in the Chomas Creations store!
Because the Bic Mark-It is permanent, it doesn't smear on this glossy surface.
I also used the Chomas Creations adjustable marker holder to hold the white Signo Uniball gel pen (now available in the Chomas Creations store!) to do the journaling with the Cameo. The font I used was Altera.
The title is from Studio called phrase: fun & games, and the controller is called game controller. The boy is all mine in the photos, he just cracks me up!

You do such beautiful work! I love your products!!! I posted a link to your store in a group that I am in and I know at least one person has since ordered... Once I can I plan to order also. I would continue to create the things I do now, but with a little more flair and style if I had your marker or pen holder!
~ <3 Pam Pam! Congrats! I just need your address!

One with Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder
Well now, some of you may think I have it all together (muwaaahahah! I make myself laugh) but truth is, I am waaay behind on my scrapbooking. This is my son that will be 6 in just 2 months on his 1st birthday. I never got around to these photos, and look how cute they are! I really suggest some of you try this collage type scrapbooking, it is making pages so much easier for me! Look how many pics I got on this page!
Enough of my rambling, hehe! For this page I wanted some cute birthday accents, so I used the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder for the Silhouette Cameo with a stylus (which I now carry in the Chomas Creations store just for you all!) and the Chomas Creations embossing mat to emboss the birthday presents on a metal sheet. Here is a pic of the stylus in the adjustable pen holder. As you can see I used the popcycle stick to adjust the height. I set my pressure to 33 and my speed to 6. Metal sheets are easy to cut with regular scissors after you have embossed! And I sanded the raised image on these.
I used one of the journaling circles I have done with the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder and the black metallic mini gel pen.
I added some bakers twine to the page as well as some brads and of course my cute pics!
