Guitar Hero!!!

Being that the kids were constantly arguing over who got to play when (ok, so maybe me and Jamie got in on that to), we decided to invest in another guitar!!!! Now we can play together, 2 at a time! So half the arguing!!! I was cracking Taylor up trying to get her to pose for me. And I caught Cam's look of concentration, always with that tongue sticking out!

Yes Jack smiles! I know this is a question on some people's minds as every pic I seem to have of Jack he is pretty much pouting. Well when the camera comes out, Jack makes the normal, I am not interested in having my picture taken today face! But here he is! Smiling! He was doing something he shouldn't so he was all happy lol!

What am I up to???
Well after being told by friends and family how much they love my cute little handmade frames, I decided to try to sell some, besides I do like making them!
So I opened an etsy shop... http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5633335 They are all on there, but I will update here as well when I get some done! Also they can be custom ordered!

Mommy brag time!!!!

My little Taylor, 14 in less then a month, and in the 8th grade, and smart as a whip!!! I just got her MEAP scores, and they would have any proud mommy beaming! She placed advanced in all but 1 category, and in that 1 category, she was 1 point away from advanced! 1 POINT!
She is in advanced math, and on her last report card? All A's!!! Such a smart girl! I'm so proud of my Tay!
And can I just add that she is also quick whitted and as pretty as can be? (Don't worry, she never looks at my blog so she won't be embarrassed! hehe)

I could make this post about all the puking and runs that our family is dealing with here, but instead I'm going to post Jack's hair cut update!

I was liking how Jack's hair was laying flat being a bit longer, so I held out on a haircut, then all of the sudden he started looking scruffy, there was no more waiting! That hair of his has a mind of its own! So here are some before and after pics...










Funny little Jack story... We are at the haircut place and there are 3 people in front of us. Jack is not a patient boy. He was running around, getting into the shampoos and things, screaming when you tried to get him away from things. Jamie says, maybe we should just get his haircut another day. I'm determined, he has been good for both of his haircuts so far. I know the girls there aren't looking forward to him, he is acting crazy! But sure enough, he gets in that chair and sits there, doesn't move! He was just wanting it to be his turn!!!
Oh and the funny eye closed pictures? That is what Jack does when I tell him to smile and show him a big smile by me, I swear I don't close my eyes hehe!

Well after 6 looooong months, and they were looong... IT IS DONE!!!

Can I just say how much I LOVE my new and improved bathroom make over? The master bath was so bad that plaster had turned to powder behind the tile, and tiles were falling off the walls left and right. It was just nasty, dirty gross! We were worried about structural damage, so down came the old, in went the new!
Jamie did all the work himself, there were very small amounts of help from me when I could, but for the most part it was Jamie. So without further ado, here it is... my new and improved master bath!

"I want popco to"...

That is what Jack says when he hears daddy going for popcycles. He is a popco addict! He can't get enough of them, and after his is gone he attacks whoever is closest with a popco!

They do love each other...
Most of the time. Ella is often seen being another mommy to Jack, helping him figure out how to do things that he can't do, hugging him and kissing his booboos, playing whatever it is Jack wants to play at the time. They do love each other, of course they have their moments, good and bad, but here is a good moment...

If only I could say it as cute as Jack! He was sitting on his daddy's lap, feeding him, and telling him "choo choo train", it was so cute I was cracking up! I did get some on video, I will have to see if you can hear him on it though!

I'm going to Cali tomorrow!!!
I can't believe it is almost here!!! I am ready for a break from this icky weather (yes it is supposed to rain in Cali, but it will be in the 50's and rainy, I'm currently looking out at over a foot of snow and 3 degree weather). I get to see a lot of the girls that came to the first MI crop, Cheri, Deanna, Stephanie H, Jes, Ruthann, and 1 that came to the 2nd MI crop Lesle! And I get to meet a bunch of ladies I've never met before! That list is too long, hehe! Did I mention I can't wait? I don't think I did, but there it is! Tomorrow!

Playing in Ella's room...
There is always something fun to do in Ella's girly girl room! There are dolls to dress, Pet Shops to play with, Polly Pockets to dress, baby dolls to put to sleep and dress up to be played! It is funny how much of a girly girl Ella is to me. So much different then me! Jack even has fun in Ella's room! Of course he kept stepping on the sleeping baby dolls and making too much noise and waking them up, according to Ella.

Happy Valentine's Day to me! What does the day start out with??? Jack falling and putting 1 of his teeth THROUGH his lip, arrrrgh! That kid can't catch a break! There was a lot of blood, a lot of crying, and a not too happy Jack. I didn't know if I should take him in for stitches or not so I put in a call to the doc's. They said I should probably go to the ER and get it evaluated! Well Jamie came home to go with me and we decided it would heal fine on its own. He went back to work to finish the day there. It isn't huge by any means, but ewwwwh! Jack doesn't seem to be bothered by it tonight, he does have a nice fat lip though!
Jamie came home from work (again) with a big bag of candy, something for everyone! Whoppers my fav! Then while he was cooking dinner there was a knock on the door! I got a Pajamagram! I'm wearing some cute flannel bottoms with a pink fleece sweatshirt! They are soft and comfy! I was so suprised, hehe! The kids are full, there is a fire in the fireplace, they are quietly watching a movie. So we are finishing Valentine's Day better then it started!

So Jack went to the dentist today and she considers him her miracle patient! Those teeth are IN there! She thinks they will be until the adult teeth push them out, when they are supposed to go!!! I was so happy I smiled all the way home until my cheeks hurt!!! Here are some pics of the big man, apparently he no longer likes my camera, but these are quite amusing.
It is no fun for him anymore... he gives me dirty looks, he bites himself (apparently that is what helps?), he hides his face, he shows off his belly, and he yells at me!!! So here is Jack in all his glory!

Tonight while eating dinner, Jack ran off on me. I called for him and he says "coming mama". Oooh I about cried it was so cute!
Then Ella saw something on tv she wanted, she is telling me and pointing to the tv. Next thing you know, Jack is pointing and saying "Mama I want that".
And of course there is the phrases heard often around our house such as "daddy stinks", "taylor mean", insert anyone's name that makes Jack mad.
Last night Jack had a fit while I was trying to help Ella make Valentine's for school. So I helped him make one. I let him stamp and such. Next thing you know he is ripping it apart, guess he didn't like it lol!
Ella's Valentine's did turn out quite nicely though! And she is currently munching on a big bag of candy from school! Unfortunately she didn't get to bring her treat to school as someone got into it and then there wasn't enough for everyone. Of course when asked, no one got into those said snacks. Apparently someone broke into my house, ate a few of the snacks, then walked out without taking anything else!
