And now for a layout with just a touch of what you can do with the Chomas Creations embossing kit!
If there is one thing I love, it is doing a page with a funny story behind it! I wanted to do a page to put a smile on my mom's face as she could use one about now.
So little story behind this page, me and my hubby think we are quite funny, so I called my mom to ask her to do a reading for our wedding which was on a cruise, and told her the title of the reading was "two ships making waves in the night". Of course that wasn't really the title, and of course we suprised my mom a bit! But being she can be sill herself at times, at the wedding she told the story about how she was asked to do this reading, and said the name of it was "two ships making waves in the night" getting a laugh from everyone there! Part of the reading included the word sunshine, which our family has a special sunshine dance we do, and this is her recreating the sunshine dance! Good times!
I used the Chomas Creations mini gel pen holder to draw with the pink glitter gel pen as my title on the bottom of the page that I designed in Design Studio with Life's A Beach. I didn't want the title to be the main focus of the page, so this worked out wonderfully!
The 2 ships were also a design from Life's A Beach which I embossed with the Chomas Creation's embossing kit onto Ten Second Studios metal sheet. To get this look, put the metal sheet colored side down, and sand off the debossed part of the image.
And here is the complete page, my mommy and all! The papers and embellies are all part of the Making Memories line.
