Button nose with Chomas Creations mini gel pen holder & embossing kit

I ran across these pictures of my now 6 year old daughter, and couldn't help but notice that cute button nose, the one she still has.  So while the face has thinned out tremendously, her nose is still the same, and that is reflected in my journaling.
The flower background was embossed with the Chomas Creations embossing kit on Ten Seconds Studios metal sheets with a design I did in Make-the-Cut.  The flower design is available for download here...

I embossed with the pink side down, so the flowers are raised, then sanded the color off with a burnishing block.  Then I used a white StayzOn ink to rub across the raised surface to make them white!  It looks so pretty in person!  Next I designed the title in MTC using the Lettering Delights font Franks Friends, and drew that with the Chomas Creations mini gel pen holder and the black metallic Chomas Creations mini gel pen.  I colored that in with a Copic marker and ran an ink pad around the edges of the scallopped rectangle.

I also drew the lines for the journaling box with the Chomas Creations mini gel pen holder and black metallic mini gel pen.  Stay tuned as I'll be sharing that MTC file in the coming weeks!  Again I used an ink pad to age the edges.

Here is the page all put together!  The paper and embellies are all Making Memories.
