I have another layout up on Custom Crops ! For a little Easter inspiration I figured I would get a page done about my little dipper! The kids look forward to this tradition every year, and I just love documenting it!
You can see this layout here... Little Dipper layout as well as download the cut file and get directions! I used the mini gel pen holders to decorate the eggs! Look at how it conquered those fine details with no problem at all!

YOU ROCK! This phrase can be heard often in our house as we love Guitar Hero and Rock Band! Of course the funniest one to watch has to be Cameron as he makes the weirdest concentration faces! And if you think these photos are funny, you should see the video lol!
On this one I used the ultra fine point Sharpies for the very fine details on the stars and the guitar from Indie Art, it can tackle even the smallest details! I also used the Sharpie on the title, drawing out "you" with Hannah Montana. Being the Sharpies work best on glossy surfaces, I used the silver Silhouette vinyl for these.

Holy Moly! Another layout you say? Why YES! Another lol! I couldn't wait to get my hands on this Robotz cartridge, and of course to get a chance to use it!! With a very "boy" boy in the house, this is right up my alley! I took these pictures of him just fooling around, and they did make my heart melt, so I thought this title was perfect for these pics!
I used the mini gel pen holders to draw the background paper, and also for the "you make my heart" part of the title.
And a super fast card I did with the Silhouette, I drew the word "sweet" with the mini gel pen holder for the Silhouette, for my just turned today 16 year old! Feel sorry for me yet? lol

What a great 2 days! And to top it off, I got to scrap in an empty house today! It was so peaceful. Funny thing is my husband called it "working" and left me alone to "work" but I just can't consider my fav thing to do "work"!!!
This is me and my sassy daughter, look at that face she is giving, hehe! I love picking on her!
For this layout, I drew with the mini gel pen holder on the background page, and filled in some of the parts with cuts from the cartridge! I really like the way it turned out. So does my "tweetheart"! I used Straight from the Nest on this page, I realllly like that cartridge so I'm glad I got a chance to "work" with it today!

My poor lil nephew broke his arm and needed surgery to repair it, so I made him this card super simple, to represent him getting put back together again! I used the mini gel pen holder to make the bricks in the red wall and also to write a sentiment inside. He is on the mend now, all fixed up and in good spirits!
There you have it, if you don't care for your handwriting, you can write sentiments inside your cards with the mini gel pen holders!
I'm very excited on how many people have stopped by my blog and commented, and even added themselves as followers! As many of you have commented, yes I am crazy busy, but it is a good crazy busy. And being that I couldn't keep up with it all, I decided to call in some reinforcements.
Awhile ago I had an idea to try the Copics with the mini gel pen holder to see what would happen, and low and behold, they worked FANTASTIC! Only problem is I haven't had the time yet to master the Copics, so I called in the help of Samantha at Scrapmaster's Paradise to give me a hand! Not only do I love her cards, I also love what she has been doing with the Copics lately! Here is the card she came up with using the Forever Young cartridge.
Isn't it just AMAZING?? Samantha has also mentioned making a video with the mini gel pen holders and the Copics, I say we go comment on her blog and talk her into doing that video for sure!!!

Here is a layout I did for Custom Crops using the mini gel pen holder for the Silhouette and colored the designs in with the Copics! They work amazing with the gel pens, now if only I was a bit better with the Copics, guess I need more practice hehe! You can see the directions and title for this layout here... Let it snow layout

Some more crafty stuff I've been up to!
One of my fav things to do right now is play with my rhinestone kit!! Besides making tons of shirts for my Ella, I came across this template for the Silhouette and I couldn't resist making it for my sis! She has a group of friends that get together every month to play a game called Bunko, or as some refer to it, Drunko! So this was perfect for her! Some of her friends are already jealous hehe!
My sister in law has a lot of friends having babies right now, and she always has me make them frames to send, so here are 3 that I've done in the last 2 weeks, yes, 3 of her friends had babies in the last few weeks!!!
These are the $1 frames at Michaels that I've covered with patterned paper using Mod Podge, and then embellished!

If there is one thing I love about my boy, it is his goofy sense of humor. While most boys maybe embarrassed that their mom says they have smooth moves, he loved it when I showed him! Fun kid!
Graphically Speaking is one of my fav cartridges for the Cricut, sooo many title opportunities! And so quick on the title like that, I'm ready for another just like it, hoping it is 1 of those 100 they have promised us this year!
The journaling was done with the mini gel pen holder and Plantin, look at the detail you get at such a small size!!!!
