The Chomas Creations adjustable holders & Copic markers

Can you imagine drawing pretty much image you already own, or pretty much any image you can find online and trace, and then color them in with the Copic markers?  Of course you could also use Spectrum Noir, Promarkers, colored pencil, even crayon!
If you would like some awesome video tutorials on how to trace images with the Silhouette Studio software you have to go to Kay's blog Clever Someday and watch Tracing without Tears!  I've been using the Silhouette Studio software for quite some time, but I even learned a few things watching her videos on tracing!
Now these are just some fonts I had on my computer that I used for the names on these frames.  I have a Copic Multiliner which is the black you see that I drew.  These don't smear with the Copic Markers.  I know there are other markers out there that won't smear but I don't know what they are, but I would love to add them to the list if you know what they are! Just email me amyc222@yahoo.com or comment on here!

I added the Copic Multiliner to the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder in the Cameo and drew the names on these frames.  I used a thickness of 5, a speed of 7 and a multicut of 2 (this really made the black even nicer!)   I also used Kay's dingbat font she has on her computer for the ovals, it has a bunch of shapes that I find very useful.  You can find that here... dingbat font
I'm not the best at coloring with Copics, but I try lol!!  I did find out that adding some Mod Podge to the top of the colored in Copics did not smear them at all!  Now I know they will be protected to.

Bonus charm frame with Chomas Creations embossing/scoring kit

Don't forget it is National Scrapbook Day (or weekend!) so you can use the coupon code nsd15 in the Chomas Creations store to save 15% off your purchase of $35 or more!

I had a request to make this frame as a mother's day present.  I used the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder for the Cricut with a Sakura Glitter gel pen.  I drew the words with the Expression2,and without removing my mat, I replaced the blade to cut shadow around them.  Because I love all the glitter, I then colored in the letters with the glitter pen.  These pens color really well!
I then used the Chomas Creations embossing/scoring kit to make the shamrocks.  By adding the metal sheet colored side down, I embossed, then sanded the raised image.

Custom made frames added to my store!

So I've been making frames for weeks now for a craft show I was doing, and the show was a bust!  I don't know if it was the weather, the time of year, or the area I'm in, but it was a super slow show.  So I'm adding the frames to my store and you have a chance to get a custom made Chomas Creations frame!  All made with love by me hehe!!
Also use the coupon code 10fall to save 10% off your total order in the Chomas Creations store at checkout!  Watch for more frames to be added daily!

Princess frames with Chomas Creations embossing kit

OOoh nothing like some girly pretty princess frames!!!  I used the Chomas Creations embossing kit on Ten Seconds Studios metal sheets to make these designs!
Perfect for my pink sale in the Chomas Creations store!  Use the code pink10 to save 10% off your purchase at checkout.  And to see the pink cards I did for the Link Up for Pink party click here...  pink post

I used Design Studio with Once Upon A Princess for the designs, which you can download here...  princess crowns  Notice when you download that if you want the words made by single letters (I used the font from Once Upon A Princess to make the word princess) in Design Studio to face the right way, you have to write the word backwards, then click on it and use the flip feature.
Here is a close up of the princess crown!
I added some circles with an embossed outer edge so you could see the stickers better.
And here are the frames!  The paper, ribbon and stickers are all Imaginesce.

Diva frames with Chomas Creations embossing kit

Ok, I had a ton of fun with these frames (minus the burns on my finger tips from the hot glue gun, eeek!  Turning your head to see what your daughter is trying to show you while using hot glue is a BAD idea!)
My fav things to craft with are bling, glitter, this feather boa, and metal!
I used the Chomas Creations embossing kit with Make-the-Cut to make the diva titles for these frames. You can download the file here... diva

Christmas frames with Chomas Creations engraving tip

Hey believe it or not, here are even more frames hehe!  I don't usually like to do anything Christmas before Halloween, but I made an exception this year hehe!
I used the Chomas Creations engraving tip on Shimmer Sheetz for all the sentiments.  The sheets go right on a regular Cricut mat, so you can use a blade to cut around this material when you are done engraving them.  Loving me some tinsel!!
This frame used the Lyrical Letters cartridge.  The papers are October Afternoon.  The tinsel is Melissa Frances.
The cartidge on this one is also Lyrical Letters.  The papers are all Imaginesce.  The ribbon is Making Memories.

I used the Winter Woodland cart on this one.  The papers are October Afternoon.

Halloween frames with Chomas Creations embossing kit & engraving tip

I like to show the difference between the Chomas Creations embossing kit & the Chomas Crations engraving tip from time to time using the same image, so you can get a better idea of what they each do!  With the Chomas Creations embossing kit you get a raised image on things such as metal or vellum.  Here I used it on a metal sheet to make the spooky title and the embossed cirlce image.  I sanded the raised image to give it this look.
I used the Chomas Creations engraving tips with Core'dinations cardstock on these frames to do the spooky title and circles.

I decided to try something a bit different this time and added some Mod Podge to the engraved cardstock to see what would happen, and I really like how it glossied it up just a bit.

Notice the difference?  One is more for embossing (leaving a raised surface with the Chomas Creations embossing kit), and the other for engraving, or etching (scratching into the material with the Chomas Creations engraving tip).
If you have ever looked at the tips together, they do have different tips to them.  The Chomas Creations embossing tip is an aluminum tip, which the Chomas Creations engraving tip has a tip made of carbide.
Here are all 4 of the finished Halloween frames I did!  The papers and goodies are all Making Memories.

You can get both the Chomas Creations embossing kit or engraving tip on sale this week in the Chomas Creations store when you use the coupon code pink10 at checkout for 10% off your entire order!

Boy frame with Chomas Creations embossing kit

More frames for the craft show I'm going to be doing.  I used the Chomas Creations embossing kit to emboss the circle designs behind the cars on this one.  I love the way that a simple circle can make anything pop of your frame, or page!  I'm sure you see circles often on my projects!
I've been sealing all my frames with Mod Podge matte to protect them, and I wanted to see what happened when I went over the metal with the Mod Podge.  Well as you can see it shined it right up!  It was a bit dull after sanding.  The papers and stickers are all Echo Park.
Another boy frame that I thought I would share!

When life gives you lemons with Chomas Creations embossing kit for the Silhouette

Another fun frame!  I love this one because it is so bright and sunny!  I used the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder for the Silhouette Cameo and a stylus to make the circles behind the lemon.  You can download the nesting circles I designed for Studio here... nesting circles
I added the Ten Second Studios metal sheet colored side down on the embossing mat, then embossed and sanded the raised surface.
The papers and chipboard stickers are all Imaginesce.

Spooky frame with Chomas Creations embossing kit

So are you getting sick of these frames I'm making yet?  hehe!  There are still more to come, but I promise to add in some cards and scrapbook pages in between them.
I'll be choosing the winner Monday night for the Disney/Pixar blog hop, so if you haven't checked it out yet, here is the link... blog hop
And the sale is still going on in the Chomas Creations store for 10% off your entire purchase!  Just enter the code mycutsearch10 at checkout!
Another Halloween frame for the craft show I'm going to do.  The spooky title was done with the Chomas Creations embossing kit for the Criuct and the Happy Haunting cartridge.  I flipped my Ten Second Studios metal sheet face down and then embossed, and then sanded the raised image.  Don't forget to flip your image before you emboss if you plan on using the raised image, as it will be backwards if you don't.
The papers & embellies are all Making Memories.
