I forgot how much I liked the Printing Press cartridge until a friend of mine got it out and I knew it was perfect for this page! I designed the title in Design Studio, added the colored metal sheets by Ten Seconds Studio to my embossing mat, embossed the image, cut it out, and sanded the color off the debossed side. I love the way the title turned out! The journaling block was also done with the mini gel pen holder!
The papers and embellies are all Making Memories.
Notice my poor son Jack was a "donkey" for his first school play! Someone has a sense of humor! And the journaling has to do with how his very loose pants were pulled down by another boy, revealing a bit of buns to the audience!!! Don't worry, it was all caught on video hehe!

I had to try something new with the Ten Seconds Studio silver metal, the Cricut, Make the Cut and the embossing kit! What if I didn't have the color metal I wanted? Well that is easy to fix, color it, right? I already have Copics here, and knew that you could spray metal with them as it was permanent, so I got the air brush kit from Copic to give it a try. I'm sure there is a learning curve to this, but I played around. I had embossed the Spidey head onto silver metal, cut around it, and sprayed the red on the debossed side of the image. It was tacky to the touch after it was dry, which was quick, so I had let it set awhile before playing with it. I sanded the debossed side with a burnishing tool (you could use Scotch Brite), and the red was easily removed on the raised part. The eyes on Spidey are just puffy paint.
Imagine all of the colors of metal sheets you could have with your Copics!!!

I am just in **LOVE** with all of the sketches that Silhouette has to offer! The new mini gel pens and the mini gel pen holder work AMAZINGLY with them!! Here is 4th of July last year, I got a ton of pics on these pages!
Both of the flags are Silhouette sketches done with the mini gel pen holder. The title is a cut from Silhouette outlined in Viva Decor glitter.

How cute are my sweet nieces? I can't get enough of them! They are all so beautiful and I just love the title "Natural Beauty" on the Give A Hoot cartridge, and of course it was perfect for these girls.
I used the embossing kit and the Ten Seconds Studios metal for the title and embellishments on this page. Simply put the colored side of the metal down, emboss with the Cricut and embossing kit, then sand the debossed side of the metal for this look. The metal cuts easily with scissors, so when I make a design I do so with something easy to cut around, such as these flowers.
The journaling block was done with the mini gel pen holder and Design Studio.
Papers are Cosmo Cricket "Delovely" ribbon is Making Memories. I also used the Viva Decor pearls for dimension.

I was going through my blog & ran across these super cute pics of my now 4 year old, and the words he was saying at 16 months! I love using my blog to document those important moments, then I can just copy them and use it for my journaling.
I used some of the new mini gel pens from the assortment pack, the light blue & brown to do the bouncing balls on the bottom of the page and the little teddy bear embellie. These colors match so many new lines of patterned papers!
I used Sans Serif for the title & Create A Critter for the bear & bouncing balls.

Well baseball season is officially over for us for the year, all the more reason for scrappin a baseball photo of my son!
For this one I used Design Studio, Sports Mania, the embossing tip that works with the Cricut, and Ten Seconds Studios metal. To get these designs you have to flip the metal color side down on the embossing mat, and used the debossed side and sand that. I also used the mini gel pen holder for the Cricut to draw the baseball looking scoreboard background. I used one of the new colors of mini gel pens, black metallic and I'm really hoping they will be here in the next 10 days!!!
The embossing mat and mini gel pen holder are both in stock and shipping!

My Girl!
Hard to believe she is mine! You'll find me in tennies, jeans and a T anyday over a dress hehe! But my girls loves the frilly stuff, I'll stick to the frilly stuff on my scrapbook pages!
For this one I used Design Studio, Once Upon A Princess, and the embossing kit for the Cricut with the Ten Seconds Studio metal sheets! To get this look you have to flip all of your images in Design Studio, lay the metal sheet colored side down, emboss, then flip the image over and burnish the "debossed" side.
The embossing kit is in stock and shipping and is available for purchase on the right side of my blog!

Y-E-S spells GRAMMA!
That is according to my daughter Ella, and I have to say I strongly agree! While me and my mom were driving with Ella in the car one day, we would spell words out, and Ella would tell us what they were. We did no, on, off, mom, dad, then I asked Ella what Y-E-S spelled and she said with certainty, "Gramma!" I said, yes pretty much, and my mom agreed! I knew that conversation needed to be documented, hehe!
After I found out what Dana over at Your handwriting, your font was doing with fonts, I decided to send her Ella's handwriting (Ella was very excited to fill out the little boxes with her letters), to turn into a font. I then used Ella's font with Make the Cut, mirrored the image, and embossed it onto Ten Seconds Studio metal sheets with the embossing kit for the Cricut. For this look you put the metal sheet colored side down, then emboss, and burnish the debossed side! How cool is that?
The embossing kits are in stock and shipping!
