Engraving with the Cricut Explore **new instructions included

***Keep in mind that these tools have been updated to fit in place of the blade on the right side of the machine.  

Ooooh wait till you see what the Cricut Explore can do!  How about etch or engrave aluminum tags!!?  I used the Chomas Creations engraving tip to make these tags.  I did use a multi cut of 2 and the highest pressure in the software.  I'm still trying to figure out the software for the Explore, so I don't have a tutorial just yet.  If anyone has ideas on making this easy, please share!

Here is another tag I did as well!  I love these chalkboard fonts as they show up really well over any open font.

Did you know Chomas Creation's is Made in America?

This week has been declared Made in America week and I would like to tell the Chomas Creations story!

8 years ago this month (yes 8 years eeeek!) I had an idea and worked on getting a part made for me to draw with my Cricut. When others saw what I was doing they asked me to make them one if I was having one made, and the idea spread like wild fire after that :)

I have a local small business that machines these parts for me. They are hardworking men and women that make these parts for all of you. I have another local small business that machines the engraving tips.

I was contacted years ago about having these parts made of plastic in China for a lot less money (not to mention less quality!) I refused. I didn't care if there was a potential for more parts to be sold at a lower price, I did not want my name on anything that said made in China.

I believe I made the right decision. Chomas Creations continues to grow due to all of you. There is no better way to get your product out than word of mouth, and you all have done that for my small company. I thank you every day :) Because of all of you I can stay home with my kids and raise them while running this small business. They even help packing your parts! :)
