I got to do a 12 (ok 11, as I was late) hour crop on Saturday and I got so much done, almost 12 pages! That is good for me as I normally just talk hehe!
So what do all of these pages have in common? Well I made some of my favorite mini gel pen journaling circles, you can get the directions for them here... Journaling circles tutorial and for the first time ever, I'm sharing them here... Journaling circle file
All you need is the Chomas Creations mini gel pen holder, Design Studio and George to make them.
The best part of them? You mess one up, and you have more to use as back up! Journaling gets done quicker! The lines make journaling so much easier! Ok, I can't just pick one good reason lol!
I made some at the crop and really impressed a few of the ladies there! So here are some of the pages I got done...
I had so much fun making the little monkeys for this one with Create A Critter as well as the title! The journaling circle is layered on paper to stand out.
I just love these papers from October Afternoon, so summery! I layered my journaling circle on top of patterned paper.
On this page I also used the Chomas Creations embossing kit on the Ten Second Studio's metal sheet for the title, and the journaling circle layered on patterned paper.
For this one I used the new Boys Will Be Boys cartridge for the super cute title and trucks! The journaling circle has been inked around the edges.
For this one the title was done with Create A Critter and I layered the journaling circle on a scallopped circle.
As you can see the journaling circles are quite versatile! They seem to fit in just about anywhere, and they don't have to be cirlces. The lines are part of the file and you could fill a cut page with squares, ovals, stars, you get the idea! You can also change the color of paper and pens. HAVE FUN!

Love them all. And I think October Afternoon is on of my faves for patterned paper.
You really did do the layouts, LOL! Doesn't it feel good when you get that much done??!! Love them!
