This is my little Ella, peeking out of her bumpers and giving her parents the idea that it was time to take down the bumper pads!
I used the stylus in the adjustable pen holder on vellum on this page! I love the look it gives. I find it shows up best when you back the embossed vellum with a colored cardstock.

Baby Blues with Chomas Creations embossing kit
It is so fun to look through photos and find these treasures! The days of baby fine hair and brand new teeth! Now my little guy is a busy 4 year old, a lot has changed!
For this page I used the Chomas Creations embossing kit on vellum to emboss the lines on the background.
The title was done with the Chomas Creations mini gel pen holder and Doodletype, then colored in with the Copic markers.

Of course the journaling circle was also done with the Chomas Creations mini gel pen holder! The embellies are Making Memories. I also made the frame around the photo with the Chomas Creationg mini gel pen holder and Copics as well.

Laughter with the Chomas Creations embossing kit
Whenever I'm asked what my favorite sound is, I always say the same thing, it is laughter. Just the sound of it can take a day from ho hum, to spectacular!!!! Especially the sounds of my kids' laughing!
For this page I designed the title and flowers in Design Studio using Opposites Attract and Straight from the Nest, layering the flowers and title. I used the Chomas Creations embossing kit on multi cut 3 on pink vellum for the title and flowers. I then layered them on brown carstock cut in the same shape as the title and flowers. And of course for a finishing touch I added the pearls! The papers are all Echo Park.

Embossing with vellum and the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder
For this page I made some pretty little embossed flowers.. You can use the stylus in the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder with the embossing mat. I used multi-cut 3 as this was a pretty thick vellum. When you add a darker color behind the vellum it really makes it POP!
My niece's name is Addi, so I highlighted Addi in glitter!
The paper and embellies are all Making Memories.

Families are forever with Chomas Creations embossing/scoring kit
For my next trick...
I wanted to see how it would look coloring embossed vellum with the Copic markers, so I gave it a shot! To get the look of the embossed title, you do need to flip it in Design Studio, or it will be facing the wrong way, because it looks better if you color the back side of the vellum. It seems with vellum you need to use a multi-cut of 2 with the Chomas Creations embossing kit for a more raised look. The embossed vellum shows up a lot better with a dark cardstock behind it, so I like to layer the vellum on top of any darker cardstock. Brads seem to be the best way to attach the vellum for me!
If there is one thing I don't have a lot of, it is family pictures, maybe because there are 6 of us! It is a very overwhelming task! This is a photo with my camera on a tripod, and with me and a remote control in hand, clicking it again and again and again! And out of about 30 shots, this was the best, even though one of my boys wasn't looking! Moral of the story? Get some photos with YOU in them, with your whole family in them! Kids grow too quick! So here is the finished layout!

A friend of mine recently had her 2nd baby boy and I wanted to send her a special card! I embossed the baby and special delivery on vellum using the embossing kit that is available for purchase on the right hand side of my blog.
I also used Create A Critter for "special delivery" and Stretch Your Imagination for the baby. I flipped the design in Design Studio as the "debossed" side shows up in white on the colored vellum! Very cool!

If the crown fits with Chomas Creations embossing kit
I've been waiting forever for the my pre-order of Once Upon A Princess, and finally got my hands on it! And ooooh my, it is even more fitting to my daughter Ella then I could have ever imagined! When I saw the title, If the crown fits, I knew that was my first page for this cartridge!
Notice the princess crown border? That was done with the embossing kit on pink vellum! I'm liking how the embossing does on the colored vellums, very cool, and really shows up great. Click on the picture to see it even better!
The embossing kits are in stock and shipping!
