Are you ready for some football with the Chomas Creations adjustable holders

Football fun!  One of the hardest things for me to find is sports paper that I like.  So I make my own!
I drew the football background with the Chomas Creations adjustable marker holder and the white Signo Uniball gel pen. The design was a Studio download.  With the white pen it is easiest to keep it away from the rollers on your machine and keep your speed down to 1 and your thickness at 1 as well.
The journaling was done with the Chomas Creations adjustable marker holder and a metallic gel pen called Scribble Stuff by the Write Brothers.  I picked them up at Target.  The font is Lettering Delights thin font Sporty.
I needed something to embellish my page (boy embellishments are hard to find!) so I made the embossed stars with a stylus in the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder and an embossing mat.  This is a thin metal sheet from Ten Second Studios.  I used a speed of 3 and a thickness of 20.  Make sure your metal sheet is secure on your mat color side down.  I just use double sided tape.  Set your height of your stylus after your mat is already in the machine.  These are nesting stars from a Studio download.
Keep in mind you can also do this with the Cricut & the Cricut Explore machines as well, you just need the proper Chomas Creations tools.
I cut out the stars using regular scissors and gave them a light sanding to make the lines in the stars pop!  The title is from a Studio download.
Here is the completed page!  Along with my football star!

More Spice then Sugar with the Chomas Creations embossing kit

My husband found this note my daughter had wrote to her brother and his friend (keep in mind her brother can't quite read yet).  For those that struggle with 6 year old hand writing, this says "please knock boys but if you do knock you still can't come in".  That girl just cracks me up sometimes hehe!!  I had to include the note on my page, so I sprayed it with some make it acid free spray.  Did you know they make that stuff???  It is by Krylon!
Now if that isn't the start of a great scrapbook memory, I don't know what is hehe!!!
Next I embossed the princess crowns with the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder with a stylus and the embossing mat on Ten Second Studios metal sheets.  If you add the colored metal side down and emboss, you can then sand your raised image!
The title was done with Silhouette fuzzy vinyl.  No they do not have this pretty blue color in fuzzy vinyl,. but I used some Glimmer Mist sprayed on the fuzzy vinyl to get this pretty blue!
I was testing my lighting for a senior photo shoot I had to do, and popped my daughter on the backdrop for some quick pictures, so this one came in super handy for this page!  The papers, ribbon and stickers are all Imaginesce.

Day 3 1 design different looks with Chomas Creations tools

Wohoo!  Day 3 is on!  If you haven't seen days 1 and 2 with the chevron file from the Silhouette Studio store .they are here:
Day 1
Day 2

Today I used the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder in the Cameo with a stylus and embossing mat to emboss on a thin metal sheet.  With the colored side of the metal facing down, I used a speed of 5, thickness of 33 and double cut to get this look.

I then sanded the raised image and added it to my card.
The file wish big is also a Silhouette Studio download.
Don't forget to come back tomorrow for another look with the same file!  I have a few more birthday cards I need done before this weekend hehe!

Merry Christmas layout with Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder

Tis the season for Christmas scrapbook pages, cards, and projects!  I found these pictures from 5 years ago (eeek I missed them!) and my kids are so little!  I did keep it super simple as there were  a lot of pictures I wanted to add and the focus is supposed to be on them!
I used the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder with an embossing mat and stylus to emboss the circle design into metal sheets, and then I added some trees from the Silhouette Studio store to the designs.
Then I added journaling lines right to my background paper, just where I needed them!  I used the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder with a gel pen for this as well!
The title is a Silhouette Studio store, this is the left side of this double page layout.
And this is the right side of my layout!

hahaha with Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder

My youngest daughter found these awesome sunglasses for a steal at a garage sale (just $.25!)  She was so proud of her find we had to tell Gramma, hehe!  I wanted this page to be a lot of fun to go with the pictures, and what is more fun then embossing???
I used the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder with a stylus in the Cameo to emboss these patterns on metal sheets.  By having the metal sheets face color side down, then embossing, you can sand the raised image to get this look.

I used the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder with a Sharpie no bleed pen to draw the journaling lines in the bubbles.  These were a recent share for Studio that you can find here, along with directions...  journaling bubbles
The title is from the Silhouette Studio store.
Here is the completed page!  I cut a bunch of circles in Studio to add to the background along with my embossed metal circles.

4th of July with Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder

One of my fav holidays is the 4th of July!  Not just because of the cool fire works, but also because of how important this day is to our country!  And if I haven't stressed it enough our parts are all manufactured in the good old USA!
I picked up these cute papers by Pebbles Inc and knew I needed some stars to go with it!  So I used the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder for the Cameo with a stylus to emboss on a metal sheet.  After you add your mat with an embossing mat to the Cameo, you simply add the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder in place of the blade, and use the popcycle stick that comes with every holder to adjust the height of the stylus.

This file for the stars is available for MTC here... star background.   I resized the file in MTC to make smaller stars.  By adding the metal sheet to my embossing mat color side down, after embossing I was able to sand the raised image.

I used the font 2 peas airplanes to design the title in MTC as well.

I made the doodle journal circles using the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder with a mini gel pen and the file from MTC that you can find here... doodle journal circles
Here is my completed page, along with some glittery ribbon!

Golf time with Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder

I had so many fun pictures from a golf outing I did last year that I knew I had to do one of these photo collages!  I found this cute golf ball border in Silhouette Studio and used the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder with a stylus to emboss the golf ball design on a metal sheet.

The golf title was also from Studio and I cut it out of white cardstock 3 times, and layered it.

The journaling was done with some of the new Lettering Delights thin fonts using the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder and a mini gel pen.  I did the journaling right on the page!  I love that I can journal on a 12x12 background even though I don't have a 12 inch printer!

Here is the completed page, pay no attention to the crazy girl with a golf club!

One with Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder

Well now, some of you may think I have it all together (muwaaahahah!  I make myself laugh) but truth is, I am waaay behind on my scrapbooking.  This is my son that will be 6 in just 2 months on his 1st birthday.  I never got around to these photos, and look how cute they are!  I really suggest some of you try this collage type scrapbooking, it is making pages so much easier for me!  Look how many pics I got on this page!

Enough of my rambling, hehe!  For this page I wanted some cute birthday accents, so I used the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder for the Silhouette Cameo with a stylus (which I now carry in the Chomas Creations store just for you all!) and the Chomas Creations embossing mat to emboss the birthday presents on a metal sheet.  Here is a pic of the stylus in the adjustable pen holder.  As you can see I used the popcycle stick to adjust the height.  I set my pressure to 33 and my speed to 6.  Metal sheets are easy to cut with regular scissors after you have embossed!  And I sanded the raised image on these.

I used one of the journaling circles I have done with the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder and the black metallic mini gel pen.
I added some bakers twine to the page as well as some brads and of course my cute pics!
Ready to try this?  Use the coupon code april10 to save 10% off your entire purchase in the Chomas Creations store!!

Love my Cameo blog hop

Welcome to the Love My Cameo blog hop!  So glad you stopped by!  If you just stopped by today to see what was going on, you are in luck!  I'm the first part of the Love My Cameo blog hop!  At the end of this post is the list of all the blogs that are on the hop in case you get lost.

Around 2 1/2 years ago I decided to buy myself a Silhouette machine as a friend of mine had said how much she loved the designs you could download.  I went to the site to look for myself and was AMAZED!  And the designers they hired to make the designs were some of my fav companies.  Well now I have a library of over 10,000 designs (I got the Silhouette at the right time!) and have since upgraded to the Cameo.  The only thing that was missing was people just like me with these machines to have a place to talk about them!  Well that has changed as the Cameo seems to be the talk all around the internet now!

Being Valentine's Day is soon approaching, what could be better then a Love my Cameo blog hop to share the love we are all feeling for this amazing machine?  In case you don't know, blog hops are easy!  You start here, follow my link to the next blog, and keep on going!  There will be loads of ideas and inspiration on the way!  Be sure to follow the blogs on this hop to find out even more about the Cameo with the tutorials a lot of these blogs offer!

Enough babbling by me!  Let's get started!
I used the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder for the Silhouette Cameo with a stylus to emboss on this Ten Second Studio's metal sheet.  By adding the colored side of the metal sheet down to the Chomas Creations  embossing mat, after embossing the colored side has a raised image you can sand to get this look!  I had my pressure on 33 and my speed at 6.  You can download the heart designs I'm using on this layout here... heart design

I then used the Chomas Creations adjustable marker holder to draw with a Sharpie paint markers (won't bleed into cardstock!) to draw the heart designs on the page.  I had my pressure at 10 and my speed at 4.

I added some patterned paper to my page and finished it up with ribbon and buttons, and of course some pictures I took of my kiddies for Valentine's day along with words that made them think of what love is.
And what would Valentine's Day be without a card?  This one is going to be for my hubby!  I used the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder with the Chomas Creations black metallic mini gel pen to draw the XOXO background.  Then I used the linked by love stamp from Sarah Hamer Designs to stamp the sentiment on to the heart design.  I thought it fit perfectly with the 2 linked hearts!  I cut the heart design 3 times and then layered it so it would pop off my card a bit more.

Another fun frame!  I love this one because it is so bright and sunny!  I used the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder for the Silhouette Cameo and a stylus to make the circles behind the lemon.  You can download the nesting circles I designed for Studio here... nesting circles
I added the Ten Second Studios metal sheet colored side down on the embossing mat, then embossed and sanded the raised surface.
The papers and chipboard stickers are all Imaginesce.
