Christmas tags with the Chomas Creations adjustable marker holder

Any day is a good day when I get to combine my 2 passions!  Getting crafty with getting oily!  I am starting early on Christmas gifts and working on epsom soaks with Young Living essential oils as gifts.
I used the Chomas Creations adjustable marker holder with the white Signo Uniball gel pen (my fav and available in my store here... white gel pen ) in the Cameo 3.  I'm using the cut then sketch option which sure does save a lot of time! With the white gel pen I did have to turn down the thickness to 7 and the speed to 1.  This pen does not need a lot of pressure and with the speed too fast it can smear.

Labels for essential oil recipes with Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder

I've started making my own essential oil Christmas gifts early this year and needed some labels, so I used the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder with the Sakura Gelly Roll gel pens.  The recipes are posted below.
These are the Sakura silver shadow gel pens.  They are silver in the middle and look like they are outlined in a color.  I used the Silhouette self adhesive cardstock with them.  I slowed the speed down to 2 as they are very juicy pens and need a bit to dry so they don't smear, and the thickness to 10.

Stress Away Soak

Fill 12 ounce jar half way with epsom salts

Add 2 Tbs baking soda

Add 8 drops Young Living Stress Away

Fill jar rest of the way with epsom salt leaving a bit of room for shaking the jar!

Add lid and give it a shake! 

Add 1 cup of mixture to a hot bath for a relaxing soak!

Cinnamon Sugar Scrub

Add 1 cup brown sugar to bowl

Add 1/4 C coconut oil

Add 2 TBS almond oil

Stir until mixed

Add 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Add 8 drops Young Living cinnamon bark

Mix again and add to jar

Essential oils become main stream....

Did you hear?  Essential oils are becoming more main stream.  So I'm not the only one using them and loving them!  I love getting the word out there on these amazing little bottles of loveliness!  I'm a big advocate for health and living healthier and the essential oils were another step for me in my journey to a chemical free home.

They are not that scary! I promise!

I know this is my Chomas Creations blog, but some of you may have noticed that I have another passion (on top of my family, scrapbooking, crafting, photography, eating healthy, working out, and photography, hmmm think I hit them all!)  That passion is essential oils.  I've been using peppermint to help with headaches for over 10 years, why I didn't get deeper into oils then is beyond me!  For those of you that have followed my blog for years, you probably know I have a busy Jackson, like super busy.  Recently he was diagnosed with ADHD & ODD.  Rather then medicate him, I tried to find alternative ways of helping him such as changing his diet, seeking counseling & I found out I could help my son with essential oils.  So off I went on my merry way to fin out  more!  What I did find out amazed me!  There are so many people getting so much help with essential oils, and they are getting more main stream.  I found out that so many of my friends were already getting help with them, but they never shared this knowledge with me.

That is why I'm posting this right now.  I want you all to know there are more ways to help with your health, with pain, with headaches, with sleeping better at night, with feeling better, with not getting sick so much, with pretty much everything.  Think of something you need help with, and I will probably tell you there is an oil for that.  So that is what this is about.  I'm very passionate with health and this was my next step :)  If these were not working for my family this post would not be on my page.  But I just can't help myself.  I love sharing, always have, always will.

Ok let me start by saying me and vinyl are not the best of friends... I need a better weeding tool for sure as the tip on mine broke off and I ended up weeding with a bent safety pin!!!  But I wanted it done lol!  This is my diffuser and I wanted something extra on it, so I found this saying and loved the way it looked, so retro, to go with my retro looking diffuser!  Now I'm sitting here diffusing stress away to calm my nerves after the vinyl incident! 
And maybe getting up the energy to unpack my office as getting crafty felt so good today and I want to get back into it after this busy year!
