Christmas tags with the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder

I love making my own Christmas tags for a fun homemade feel when wrapping (or bagging hehe) my gifts.  I have used these tags in the past and you can find the file for them here... tags
I like to draw the design first which I used a Gelly Roll gel pen in the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder for the Cameo 4 to draw.  You can also do this with any other Silhouette machine with the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder for the Silhouette.
In order to draw first I send my image over to draw & turn off all the lines I don't want to draw by highlighting them and choosing no sketch.  Notice because I am drawing I select sketch, and then pen.  Now the "cuts" I need to make will not draw as they have been turned off.  Notice what I am drawing is a brighter thicker lined red, and anything not being sent right now is a thin line.
Next I'm going to select everything and set that to no sketch.
Now I'm going to select cut, and I'm using the auto blade.  Now the items I want to cut I highlight & click the cut option.  Now the only thing being sent once again is the cut lines as you will notice they are thicker lined red.
And look at that a whole sheet of Christmas tags!

I added some ribbon and will use double sided adhesive to add these to any present or I can just tie them on the handles of any gift bag I may have!  I think they add a fun personal touch!

Labels with the Chomas Creations adjustable marker holder

Organizing the pantry today and decided to make some labels for my containers using a fine point Sharpie in the Chomas Creations adjustable marker holder in the Cameo 4 to draw on vinyl from 651 Vinyl.
I drew the design first and then cut around the design for this look.
Make sure you slow the speed to 3 and lower the pressure to 1 when doing this as you can crush the tip of the Sharpie.
Ready to draw with your Cameo 4? You can find the Chomas Creations tools here... http://amychomas.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1_18

Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder on wood tags.

I found these wood Recollections brands tags at Michaels and found they fit under the rollers on my Cameo 3 and thought why not try drawing on them with gel pens? And guess what? It worked! I added some of the Gelly Roll brand gel pens to the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder and drew the Christmas design on my tags! I'm adding them to gifts for a little something extra !!
This was super easy and quick! I used some double sided adhesive to keep the wood tag in place and it popped off easily!

Christmas tags with Chomas Creations adjustable marker holder in the Cameo

Tis the season to create some cute Christmas tags! I found this file on my computer and forgot I had them!  So excited to use them again for some Christmas tags!  I added the Chomas Creations adjustable marker holder with some of the American Crafts cutting machine pens to the Cameo to do these tags.  It's a quick way to make a lot of tags all at once! I even cut out some holes in the tags so you can tie them to a present or have a cute ribbon on them for fun!  You can find the Chomas Creations adjustable marker holder here

Are you ready for some football with the Chomas Creations adjustable holders

Football fun!  One of the hardest things for me to find is sports paper that I like.  So I make my own!
I drew the football background with the Chomas Creations adjustable marker holder and the white Signo Uniball gel pen. The design was a Studio download.  With the white pen it is easiest to keep it away from the rollers on your machine and keep your speed down to 1 and your thickness at 1 as well.
The journaling was done with the Chomas Creations adjustable marker holder and a metallic gel pen called Scribble Stuff by the Write Brothers.  I picked them up at Target.  The font is Lettering Delights thin font Sporty.
I needed something to embellish my page (boy embellishments are hard to find!) so I made the embossed stars with a stylus in the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder and an embossing mat.  This is a thin metal sheet from Ten Second Studios.  I used a speed of 3 and a thickness of 20.  Make sure your metal sheet is secure on your mat color side down.  I just use double sided tape.  Set your height of your stylus after your mat is already in the machine.  These are nesting stars from a Studio download.
Keep in mind you can also do this with the Cricut & the Cricut Explore machines as well, you just need the proper Chomas Creations tools.
I cut out the stars using regular scissors and gave them a light sanding to make the lines in the stars pop!  The title is from a Studio download.
Here is the completed page!  Along with my football star!

Learn with the Chomas Creations adjustable marker holder

I'm kind of slacking on my scrapbook pages but had an itch do to a page, so here goes nothing!  I really need my desk back as I'm lacking creative space!
I found these chalk markers at Target in the scrapbook section and had to give them a try as the chalk look is all the rage right now.  They are by American Crafts.
They fit in the Chomas Creations adjustable marker holder.  Notice how I'm not using a cutting mat to draw the title.  If you slide the white roller on the right side of the Cameo over a notch, you can put your 12x12 paper right in the machine!  I love this as I don't have to try to carefully remove my paper from my mat.

Here is the title close up.  I used a speed of 1 and a thickness of 5 to do the title from the Studio store.
I also used the Chomas Creations adjustable holders to make the journaling circle on my page.
Here is the completed layout!  I added some cute wood stars to make the page pop!

I love you layout with Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder

I was playing around with the Sakura Souffle gel pens on black cardstock trying to get a chalkboard look and wanted to do something with the "I love you" goodie that I made.  If you want to get the fonts I used on this page, they are here... chalkboard fonts
Again I will say you need to use a slow speed (1) and a low thickness (1) with these pens as they are really juicy!  I used them in the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder to draw this.
The journaling quote is a share I designed that you can get here, along with a tutorial... journal thought bubble  I also used a gel pen in the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder to draw these.
Here is my finished page, along with me and my little love bug!

Father's Day card with Chomas Creations adjustable marker holder

So I had to see one of these new Lettering Delights sketches for myself with Silhouette Studio, so while I was getting the kids ready for bed, I let the Cameo do all the work.  I used the Sharpie Liquid Pencil.
Here are the Sharpie Liquid Pencils, which I found at Target (sorry they were open, I had to play hehe!)
Here is the Chomas Creations adjustable marker holder in the Cameo drawing the sketch.  I used Silhouette Studio with some of the new Lettering Delights thin fonts (this one is called LDT Teacher) to write Happy Father's Day at the bottom of the card.  Again Jin has a tutorial on using the new sketches on her blog... Under A Cherry Tree

I'm just amazed at what the Cameo can do!  Sooooo smooth!  I can't wait for Doug Larson to release more of these sketches to play with!  I inked around the edges of this card for a more rustic feel as well.  You can click on these pictures to get an even better idea on how amazing these details are!

he won't admit it with the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder

I found these new Sakura gelly roll pens at Michaels and had to give them a try!  They are gold shadow and wow are they neat!

I did fill this font with the internal offset like I have shown in this post... filling a font with internal offset  I added the gel pen to the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder and let the Cameo do its thing.  This was a tough one to get a pic of!  It does show up nice in real life, and is different colored on different angles. Very cool pens!

I also used a Staedtler triplus fineliner to do the journaling with the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder.  The font I used is a thin font from Lettering Delights called Casual.

My pics weren't that great as they were from my phone, but they were sure cute and I couldn't get a repeat performance from Jack!  lol If you want to know more about the oils I am using for Jack and the rest of my family, feel free to visit my oily blog at... getting oily

You are just plain wonderful layout with Chomas Creations adjustable marker holder

A special page for my 16 year old son, he is such an amazing young man!  If you would like to read the journaling it is here, I wanted it in my handwriting to make it more personal.
I used the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder with a Sakura Gelly Roll glaze pen to draw the lines right on my scrapbook page.  When you are drawing right on the page there is no need for a mat.  I just slid the white roller on the right over one notch, changed the setting on the machine from load mat to load media, and loaded my sheet of cardstock.
The title was from the Studio store, as was the check it out design on the right of my page, and the arrows.
Here is my completed page with my shaved bald for a good cause son!  So proud of this guy!

Happy birthday sketch card with Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder

I needed a quick birthday card and the Silhouette and the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder were the perfect machine for the job!  I used one of the Sakura Gelly Roll gel pens in the holder with the KG Second Chances chalkboard font to draw the sentiment on the card.  The card was already cut to size and scored, so all I did was add it to the machine and go!  I used a speed of 1 and a thickness of 10 to draw the design.  These pens are really juicy so slowing down the speed helps them not smear.

My funny Valentines with Chomas Creations engraving tip

So I am finally getting around to making a scrapbook layout of the Valentine's day cards my kids made last year, hehe!  You can actually get the directions for these Valentines my kids made using the Chomas Creations mini gel pen holder here.... Valentine's day cards
I used the Chomas Creations engraving tip for the Cameo on Core'dinations cardstock to make the heart border & lines around the title.

After I had etched the title, it didn't pop as I would have liked, so I decided to go a step further. The best part about Core'dinations cardstock is that one side is colored, and one is black.  So I cut a big piece that was hiding behind my 8x10 photo to use for cutting out the title.  Now you can really see it!

I used the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder for the Cameo to hold a Souffle gel pen to draw the Valentine's sentiments.  Souffle pens do take a bit to dry, so I made sure that the rollers on the Cameo would not run them over to smear them.  You can also push the rollers aside if you need to.  The font I used was Altera.
And here is the finished page, along with my collage photo.  I love doing these to get a lot of pictures on a page!
